Smooth, silky, and sweet, this milk tea is the perfect pick-me-up for a lazy day.
6g loose leaf or 3 tea bags of black tea, such as Lipton, English Breakfast, or Orange Pekoe
Boiling water
1/4 cup evaporated milk
1 tsp condensed milk
Place the tea or tea bags in a large mug. Fill about halfway with boiling water and allow to steep for 5 minutes, then remove the tea (avoid oversteeping, or you'll get an undesirable bitter flavor).
For the smoothest finish, strain through a clean stocking or cheesecloth.
If you boiled the looseleaf in a pan, pour into a mug. Add the evaporated and condensed milk and stir to combine. Drink piping hot, or pour over ice for a refreshing summer drink!
